This next chapter of Good Bubbas is led by Alexis — a Charlotte-raised mom, dog mom, former radio personality, small business owner, and firm believer that pet care should feel safe, reliable, and genuinely loving. Around here, we’re not just here to check a box and head out. We’re here to build trust, learn your pets’ routines, and make sure you feel good every time you leave them with us.

A Message from Alexis:

Hi, I’m Alexis — the owner of Good Bubbas.

I was born in Boston, but Charlotte is home. I grew up right here, and this city has shaped so much of who I am. Taking over Good Bubbas means a lot to me because I’m not just running a pet care company — I’m building something in my own community that people can truly trust.

Pet care has never felt like “just work” to me. I walked dogs while I was pregnant with my son, Benny, and I even continued walking dogs while he was in the NICU. Benny was born at 25 weeks and spent 5 months in the NICU, and that season of life changed me forever. It taught me how important trust, consistency, and peace of mind really are when someone else is caring for the ones you love most.

Before this chapter, I was a radio personality here in Charlotte, and these days life looks a little different. My husband, J, and I also own a local food truck together, so between business, family, and our own pups at home, life is definitely full — in the best way. That family-centered mindset is a big part of what I bring into Good Bubbas every day.

We’re also dog parents ourselves, so I truly understand that pets are never “just pets” — they’re family. They have routines, quirks, favorite spots on the couch, and people who love them deeply. That’s exactly how I want every pet in our care to be treated.

At Good Bubbas, my goal is simple: to provide care that feels dependable, personal, and genuinely trustworthy. Whether we’re stopping by for a walk, staying overnight, or caring for your pets while you’re away, I want you to feel confident knowing they’re in loving, capable hands.
