What’s your cancellation policy?

A cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel overnight pet sitting services within 72 hours notice prior to the start of your booking. The cancellation fee is equal to 50% of the services booked which is equal to the deposit.

For dog walking or drop in services, we require a 24 hour notice to cancel. Otherwise you’ll be charged 50% of the service rate booked.

How does overnight pet sitting work?

Good Bubbas offers two different options: 12 hour + 2 drop ins or 24 hour pet sitting.

For the 12 hour option, you’re guaranteed a sitter between 7pm and 7am. Two 20 minute drop ins are also included; one between 10a-noon and one between 4-6pm.

The sitter who is completing your overnights may not be the same sitter who completes the daytime drop ins. Some of our sitters work in the office, therefore would not be able to accommodate both. If this is the case, we would have you meet both the overnight sitter + walkers. Or if you’re comfortable, GB management can review the care instructions with the designated daytime walker.

For the 24 hour option, your sitter is permitted to step away for two 1 hour breaks between 10-11am and 7-8pm. If you need GB management to step in during those times, we are happy to do so upon request.

How + when do I pay for services?

We’ll invoice you through the Precise Petcare app where you can pay with a debit or credit card. Please, no Venmo! This helps us stay organized.

Overnight stays are invoiced to the client once your designated sitter confirms the booking. We collect a 50% deposit upfront to secure their spot. For dog walks or drop ins, clients will be auto invoiced on Saturday mornings for any walks completed during the week.

How can I tip my sitter?

Sitters can be tipped via your invoice payment. Tips can be added up to 3 days after your services have been completed. You can also request their personal Venmo from Ashley to tip them directly.

We highly encourage tipping for great service!

What holidays do you observe? Do you have a surcharge?

A 50% surcharge will be automatically added to your invoice for the following holidays:

New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

How are your sitters vetted?

GB Management personally vets all their sitters, looking for extensive pet care + knowledge. After that, a background check is performed. Once the sitters are onboarded, they have two weeks from their date of hire to complete a 6 hour, 49 course Certified Pet Sitter + Dog Walker training as well as a handbook quiz. After that, they’ll officially be allowed into your homes to care for your babies!
